Product Introduction:
Multi-cylinder cooler is commonly used in the rotary kiln system. It’s made up of cooling drums around the discharging end of the dryer. The diameter of the drum is 0.8-1.4m with the length of 4-7m and L/D of 4.5-5.5. It integrates and rotates with the drum body. 1/4 of each drum is built with refractory bricks while the rest is equipped with the chain or lifter. There is a hole on the drum body to connect the drum and the cooling drum by connecting receiver. Clinkers are discharged to the cooling cylinder from the discharge hole to achieve smooth heat exchange with the cold air. Preheated air enters into the drum as the secondary air.
Working Principle:
The working principle of multi-cylinder cooler is similar to that of the single cylinder cooler. High temperature clinker enters into the cooler which achieves heat exchange between materials and the air. Materials roll forward regularly inside the kiln with the rotation of kiln according to the slope and the rotary speed. Thus, raw materials are conveyed to the discharge end and will be cooled to less than 200â„?when passing through the rotary kiln.
Performance Characteristics:
1.Clinkers can be evenly distributed inside the general section. The cooling drum is short, but the clinkers can be cooled to 200-300�and they can be even cooled to less than 200�for dry kiln if it’s better designed.
2.The secondary air enters into the kiln evenly around the rotary kiln which will not cause vortex and is beneficial to the mixing of fuels and the air.
3.No waste gas which saves purification.
4.Simple structure. No need for single blower and transmission device; no moving parts which makes it unnecessary to look after.
5.Less metal consumption and floor area per unit and low electricity consumption.
