Grate cooler:
Product Introduction:
Grate cooler is to cool clinkers moving toward the grate bed vertically by air. It’s an important machine to produce dry cement clinker as well as the key equipment to save energy in the whole process. It can exhaust hot air into the rotary kiln and cool materials to proper storage temperature which greatly saves fuel resources. In addition, under the circumstance of big differential of high and low temperature, cement raw materials is easier to be ground which is beneficial to the long time storage of finished products.
Working Principle:
Grate cooler is installed with the grate bed lined with fixed grate and moving grate inside. It can be installed horizontally, obliquely, horizontally and obliquely or in ladder type. The grate inclines to make grate bed zigzag. There are many long or round holes on the grate plate. Clinkers go into the cooler from the rotary kiln and are cooled by the air moving from the lower grate pore and gap upward when they fall down. Under the action of transmission device, moving grate reciprocates along the surface of fixed grate plate. Clinkers move toward the outlet from the high temperature zone. In the high temperature zone, there is big temperature difference between the cool air and hot clinkers so it’s also quenched in this zone.
